The Chinese community in Nashville and Middle Tennessee area will celebrate the Chinese New Year on Saturday, January 28, the first day of the Year of the Rooster. Greater Nashville Chinese Association (GNCA) is partnering with the Nashville Chinese School(NCS), Chinese Arts Alliance of Nashville(CAAN) and Chinatown Restaurant at Green Hills to present an entire day of fun activities throughout the city.  We are inviting the local communities to join us for the celebration and the cultural experience!

The official GNCA Chinese New Year Celebration will start at 3:00 pm at the Bennett Building Student Center at Lipscomb University with children’s activities and community booth displays. Dinner is from 4:30-6:30 pm at Bison Café.  The Gala performances will be from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Collins Auditorium.  As always, we will have lion dances, traditional performances, red envelopes for children and raffle prizes.
