Statement on U.S. Government WeChat Restrictions
Many of you may have heard the recent news that the U.S. federal government has announced restrictions on the use of WeChat. Since most of us use the app daily to communicate with family and friends in China, many in our community are worried about this development. Because the specifics of the ban are still unclear, however, GNCA will continue to publish to our WeChat account normally, at least for the time being. (We also want to make clear that our move to a new WeChat account is unrelated to these restrictions.)
