Last chance to buy dinner tickets for our Chinese New Year Gala on Saturday, 1/14

In order to give our food vendor enough time to prepare dinner for our 2023 Chinese New Year Gala, we will stop selling dinner tickets at midnight TONIGHT, Thursday, January 12. Tickets for the performance part of the evening will continue to be sold online until noon on Saturday; they can also be purchased at the door.

Parking Information

Gala attendees can enjoy free parking anywhere on Belmont’s campus; no registration or permit is needed. The university recommends the Ayers Garage, located underneath our dinner location at the Janet Ayers Academic Center. Another option is the North Garage, located underneath the adjacent Gordon E. Inman Center. Both lots are on Wedgewood Avenue on the north side of campus.

Please note that there is a basketball game at Belmont on Saturday afternoon; it is therefore advised to avoid parking near the Curb Event Center on the southern end of campus.

General Event Information

This year’s event is being held in partnership with Belmont University Asian Studies. The festivities begin at 4:30 pm with a boxed dinner (Chinese dishes) at Belmont’s Janet Ayers Academic Center (JAAC). The show begins at 6:30 pm at the nearby Massey Performing Arts Center (MPAC) and will feature a wide range of amazing performances, as well as a hongbao (red envelope) giveaway for children and some fantastic door prizes.

Please note that this is our first indoor event in three years, and while there are no public-health related restrictions in place, we ask that you use common sense to keep yourself and others healthy and safe.

  • Dinner: $12 (boxed dinner and drink; one price for all ages)
  • Performance tickets (no reserved seating)
    • Adults (13+): $12
    • Children (5-12): $6
    • Children 4 and under: free
  • VIP tickets (reserved seating; includes dinner): $50

IMPORTANT: In order to ensure a smooth entry at the event, please bring a printout or screenshot of the purchase confirmation email you will receive. Some people have reported delays in receiving the confirmation email; if you have not received yours within 24 hours of purchase, please contact us at tngnca@gmail.com.
